They say that we begin to die little by little from the very first day of our lives. It may be so, but in childhood it is curiosity that saves us. From this viewpoint, those who feed the child’s hunger to learn are parents and infants’ school. In this way, they become responsible for the achievements of the future adult and at the same time, more importantly, for preserving the freshness of child’s curiosity as long as possible.
Whether in the village, in the city, or in the library, children everywhere learn by the same means, through observation, imitation, question and answer, in short, via constant communication.
It would be possible to tell countless stories about the way in which young children discover the world or how its mysteries are revealed to them. Some of these stories can be found in the fourth temporary exhibition of the European “Childhood. Remains and Heritage” project.
